Even -10 degen isn't enough if they have decent self-heals.
And you can attack through those curses, sure you will be taking some damage but it doesn't take much to hit through 60 armor.

Mesmer are fine to me... I never had problem with Mesmer hex.. Necromancer hexes, on the opposite....

Nah, Holy Trinity is overpowered.
Just leave Mesmers in the game, but remove all their attributes other than Fast Casting.

All melee classes can, one way or another, knockdown, interrupt and remove hexes and conditions.

Or just kill them before they use any spell for gods sake, or do you stand still and let them hex your ass out and then you decide to attack?

As said above, that's why it's a team game. Hopefully, if they are shutting you down, some other member of your team is left unchecked to compensate for you.

You touched a excelent point... A necro DONT need a full bar dedicated to shut down me. 2 melee hexes + something like Spiteful Spirit (which can be used on any class) is enough to stop melee. Some hexes (like Faintheartdness) can be used in a pinch to degen a caster class too.
A anti-melee necro is still useful outside shutting me down, which he excel at.

If you point me a hex removal which would allow me to survive the hex-spam, I'd gladly use it.
P.S. I am being sincere.

More then the effect, the inability of avoiding it is what annoy me. Some of these can be keep up indefenitely if the necro want and removal is as hard as they come.
Killing the source of the problem with reduced speed and lifestealing isn't a breeze too, it's a loss/loss situation in which the better you do is wait until 20 sec until the hex ends to attack 5 secs before being hexed again.
Frustating.

Play a caster... no more worrys about blind, anti melle hexes...
But if i see you again here talking about how much damage this things like daggers and sword do in casters i will call you a loser cry baby...

You are not supposed to be able to counter hexes by straight-on removal. Trying to just remove as many hexes as possible is a losing strategy - you need to pull the hexes that shut your team down. If you're constantly disrupting and removing the crippling hexes while ignoring the cover hexes, you'll still be able to fight.

Yes it does. Use it to remove your hex stack and start beating down on whatever is the source of the hexes.

Lets just removed all the professions except warrior! Then we can complain about blocking stances, and knockdown, then we can remove warriors! I mean all we really need is a bigger storage right?

Yarr! Move Mending to Strength. Then take out all classes but Warrior, leaving only Frenzy and Mending for skills. C-Space (or Tab-Space if you're a tricky dick) your way to victory! ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH TO BE KING OF THE HILL?
Cough. Anyway. Carry on, lads.

Bring any of those skills on a warrior and you can warm your hands from the flames you will be receiving(except maybe purge signet)
